I loved going to our church.  I felt God like I never had before and I had been to many churches.  God was and is still so real in our church!  I repented and asked God to forgive me for my sins, but I was too scared to get baptized.  My Pastor kept asking me.  I am glad he never gave up.  I finally decided to get baptized when I was twelve years old in Jesus' name.  I never felt so clean as I did when I came out of the water then. 

     I sought God for the Holy Ghost, but I did not receive it until I went to camp several months later.  It took me awhile to receive it, but once  I did I could not stop speaking in tongues!  I never felt so much peace in my life!  I am so thankful God gave me that AWESOME gift of His Spirit living inside of me!

     Well it did not stop there...  I had the privilege of being apart of a wonderful youth group and eventually helping out with it as I got older.  God blessed me with talents to teach Sunday School.  I have had the privilege of teaching Sunday School since I was 14 years old.  Also, God gave me a wonderful husband, Mark.  He is with me in the picture above at the same camp I received the Holy Ghost at when I was 12 years old. 

     I am so blessed because of the Lord and what He has done in my life!  I shutter to think what my life would have been like without Him.  I can only function with His help!  Without Him I am a nasty, ugly person.  Thank you God for all the wonderful things you have done in my life!  I want to get better at knowing you.  I humbly ask for Your help, Lord.  You are  forever my SuperHero!!!!!!
